Have you ever gotten a big stamp and wondered, "now what the heck am I gonna do with this thing?" Well, I did too. I liked the idea, but I wasn't sure if I could come up with something. And, being the terrible CASEr that I am (if you know me, you know I have a hard time copying anyone, I just think of them on my own), this was a personal challenge for me. However, I took it on and here it is:
The pic doesn't show well, but there are CE highlights all over this baby, including the center of the flower. It's also WAY more dimensional in person, but again the photo doesn't show too well (other than the front petals of the flower). Maybe I need to get a lesson in photography! Trust me, it's more "interesting" to look at in person, but for blogdom this will have to do!
Set: From the Garden
Colors: Basic Gray, Old Olive, Orchid Opulence, Confetti White
Other: Artichoke brad, 1/4" circle punch, slit punch
Wondering how I colored the flower? I used my watercolor crayons from SU! and an AquaPainter. First I picked up the color with the brush directly from the crayon and then applied it to the image. Lighter colors first, then I went in with darker colors for shading and highlights. If you want to know which colors I used, please contact me (click the "contact me" link under my picture to the right). The list is longer than you'd think!

Wow - that is a big flower! Great job with it.
I love this card and that stamp!
I am so mad I didnt get it during SAB...
Awesome!!
It came out beautifully!
Good heavens, that IS a big flower and I can see the challenge in using it on a card. But you did it beautifully. I can certainly see the dimension and I imagine it's even more dimensional IRL. Beautiful colors. I love what you did with the punched corners--like a jumbo ticket corner punch. Big corners for a big flower. Gina, thanks for dropping in on me now and then. I always enjoy it when you do.
Wow what a really cool card! I can see a bit of sheen from the CE highlights...I bet it is totally amazing in person! I love the detail in the bottom right corner and top left! Too fun!
This is really pretty. I wouldn't have known what to do with it.
What a gorgeous card! I LOVE the colors!
You did beautiful with that stamp!!! Can you believe I have that same stamp and can't think on ANYTHING creative to do with it? I know...UGH! LOL!
This is absolutely beautiful!!! Love the entire card. I so want that flower!
