Blog Candy!

Hi! I'm feeling so happy after yesterday's news that I decided to offer a little blog candy! What I have to offer is a mini photo album (perfect for altering - just take out the inserts and make your own art), a packet of quilled dragonflies, a container of different colored paper clips (these make great embellishments, and the container is AWESOME for storing punched tags or smaller shapes for quick access), and 4 gel pens (pink, lavender, light blue and light green). Everything is brand new and unopened, so if you're interested, please play!

Okay, here's what you do:

I want to hear what you enjoy most about your favorite blogs. Is it the cards? The tutorials? The blog candy? What brings you back day after day to the blogs you frequent? Post your comments here for your chance to win!

I'll leave this contest open until Sunday at 11:59pm. After that, I'll pick one name at random and the winner will be announced on Monday.

SO, get posting!

What brings me back? I like blog entries that aren't too too long so I can take the time to read em and I love to see stamped creations that are clean and creative. Blog candy is good, but also tips and ideas and blogs that are fun to read.

Hi! When I first go to a blog, of course I'm looking for cards. I'm looking for inspiration and ideas for my own card making and classes I teach. If there's a tutorial on something I've been wanting to learn or that I see will teach me something I didn't know, I am overjoyed. I'm learning all the time and really appreciate the time and effort put into creating tutorials. So...thank you!! :)

The cards and the tutorials.

Hi Gina, well since I am creativity challenged I come to the blogs for ideas from the posted cards and the tutorials. I am a very good CASER, but tend to change things up. If I have to look at a blank cardfront, I can come up with NO ideas unless I have seen something else done. I am really that bad. So, keep on blogging cause I love your blog.

For me it's definitely the cards! I love seeing what everyone is doing!

I keep coming back to blogs for all the great ideas and to learn about new tools...and where to find them. I love the detailed directions that many give on how to do something. I also keep coming back to blogs because after reading them day after day, I feel like the bloggers are my new friends and I want to see how they are doing!

I love a blog that is current and updates frequently. I also love seeing all types of different 3D projects, cards, scrapbook layouts, mini books, tutorials, etc. I get a lot of inspiration from blogs and am so appreciative of the time, effort and willingness to share with us. Thanks for the inspiration.

My favorite thing in Blogs would have to be just reading what everyone has to write. I like when there is stampin things involved but also other parts of the persons life. It gets you more involved with the Blog. I also love looking at Cards.

Glad you received super super good news from your doctor. What a sweet way to celebrate with your readers and admirers. I love to surf blogs for:
1 cards-for inspirations and the creative juices flowing.

2 tutorials-love to learn new things

3 blog candy-it's fun to play

4 blogs-to see the creative ideas and projects from other stampers that love the craft I love or I guess you could say obessioned with.

Thanks so much for sharing your creative talent with others and again congrats with your great news.

What gets me coming back is when I actually know some personal stuff about a blogger. I feel more connected to a blog like that.
Second, I love to see brand new products used. You would not believe all the new stuff I own now that I have been blog peeking.
And of course, blog candy is always fun.

I love the pictures, they are great inspiration when I am at a loss.

Thanks for the chance to win some neat goodies! What keeps me coming back to my favorite blogs - well, it's NOT the blog candy, altho that is a great bonus - it IS the cards & tutorials!

I just found you today. I read blogs for ideas, to view the creativity out there, to feel a sense of commraderie, and just for fun. I too like the shorter entries. Just don't have time for long ones. I also want to have a blog someday.

What I like most about the blogs I routinely look at is the creativity and inspiration I get from the items they create. Also, it is nice when they give tutorials on techniques used in projects. That is mostly what I view blogs for.

Of course, the main reason is the wonderful, shared creativity. I like blogs that have variety to them...some stamping, some organizations tips, techniques and just plain everyday life tips.

I don't think that there is anything I DON'T like about blogs. I love taking a peek into a fellow stampers life and seeing their newest creations. I get tons of ideas and inspiration! Oh and of course the blog candy ROCKS! :)

I like blogs that post beautiful cards, and then tell me how to make them!

I'm pretty new at this, so I can't always tell what was done to get a special effect.

I love an updated blog that's nice and bright and not too long. I love everybody's work it's great to see diff. ideas!!

Hi! I am so very new to this and just love the blogs that I have visited...not a whole lot...but the ones I have, like this one, I have marked as favorite because of the great personality they have. This blog and a few others convey the personality of the blogger and yours does. I love the mix of card samples, life stories, updates, and the fact that you try techniques. That keeps me coming back to your blog and a few others. They are fun, humorous, informative, lively, and a treat to visit with my morning coffee. Keep up the good work and so happy to hear about your test results!

I come back here every day because I really like the cards that you post, and the easy to follow instructions!

What a great idea for the butterfly on the color challenge card. Everybody in my stamp club laughs because I use my stamp-a-ma-jig. I'll have to show them what you did with it!!

Of course I love to see everyones creations. Tutorials are great. But mostly I find that reading what others have to say helps me learn of new products, techniques and keep in touch with others that share my passion.

Gina -
I just left a really long message and don't know if I will get a double post here, if I do I apologize -- my computer is doing wacky things!

Essentially I said (in the hopes I won't be repeating myself!)

1 - COngrats on the diagnosis. I know that has to be a HUGE relief!

2 - Great candy -- thanks for the chance to win!

3- The main reason I visit daily is the card ideas. I find it actually easier to visit the designers that I like than wade through SCS and I can check the blogs quicker. I am always looking for inspiration!

4 - Candy is great and fun, but not essential. But lets be serious -- who does not like to win something????

5 - I love the communication piece. I find it comforting to know that there are others like me out there! :)

I go to the blogs to see the cards and to learn new techniques. The blog candy is just a plain fun bonus!

I keep coming back to a blog if I found something I can relate to the first time I was there.

We all have different styles...but there are so many stamping blogs, I can always find one that is just my type.

The trouble is...when I find that one, I look at their links to blogs that they like, and go check them out, and look at those bloggers links...I can go happily surfing along for hours :)

Great card designs and a tutorial or two will bring me back! PLUS (of course) the personality the blogger projects! It really is fun getting to know someone's style. AND you've got it ALL going on here sweetie!

I enjoy getting my inspiration from all the wonderful creations.
However, the downside to blog- hopping is the ENABLING! I have discovered many new stamp companies and can't seem to stop buying!
